Website of Moldova's Public Services Agency accessible for people with special needs too

The Public Services Agency (ASP) has added a new functionality on its official website, in order to make sure that all users, including people with special needs, can access and use the information and services available on the platform.

„By accessing the pin, placed in the upper right corner of the website’s interface, users will benefit from more instruments due to simplify the navigation. It is about a high contrast between the text and background for people with sight deficiencies; big enough pins and links, in order to be easily accessed; possibility of adjusting the text’s dimension; readable fonts; easy navigation with the keyboard (without mouse); forms with explicit labels and clear-cut error messages,’’ ASP said.

At the same time, a system transforming the text into voice was implemented for people with sight deficiencies. Thus, the access of people with sight deficiencies or other disabilities to information provided by the Agency was facilitated.

„This improvement observes the national regulations as to the digital accessibility and shows ASP’s commitment for inclusion and equality. We want all citizens to be able to easily access our information and services, no matter the needs they are facing,’’ the Public Services Agency added.
