Moldovan judoka wins European Cup among seniors
Judoka Alexandru Tîrsînă (60 kg) has won the European Cup among seniors, held in Podgorica.
According to the National Olympic and Sports Committee, Alexandru Tîrsînă defeated Serbian Ivan Ledjanski, Montenegrin Edvin Civovic, Pole Ksawery Ignasiak and Italian Vincenzo Manferlotti.
In the 73 kg category, Vlad Mitru won bronze medal after defeating Serbian Bogdan Velickovic in the final match. In the female category, Daniela Tcaci (63 kg) ranked fifth, managing to achieve two victories.
