Moldovan swimmer won three gold medals at Belgian championship
Chisinau, Nov. 14 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan swimmer Constantin Malachi won three gold medals at the Belgian championship, the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS) announced today.
He prevailed in 50, 100 and 200 meters breaststroke in the Belgian open championship. "The athlete registered the results 27.58, 59.68, respectively 2:12.23. In the distances of 50 and 100 meters, Constantin Malachi set new national records", CNOS indicates.
Another swimmer from the Republic of Moldova, Dan Siminel, ranked 4th in 50 meters freestyle, with a result of 23.26. He was overtaken by an athlete from the host country and another from the Netherlands.
