Moldova's national team gets silver, bronze medals at Hand-to-hand Fight Championships
Chisinau, 19 June /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s national team has got silver and bronze medals at the World Championships in hand-to-hand combat, 2023 edition, held in Astana, Kazakhstan, on 16-19 June.
Thus, Cristian Constantinov achieved a memorable performance, getting a silver medal at the weight category of up to 70 kg. At the same time, Iuliana Oprea won at her category, getting a bronze medal at the category of up to 70 kg.
At the same time, more members of the national team, including Iurie Guseinov, Petru Buzdugan, Vladislav Mastac and Dmitri Ceacusta, achieved good rankings, becoming the best 5 sportspeople at the championships.
The sportspeople and coaches will be awarded prizes and money rewards at the Sports Gala, an event traditionally organized by the Education and Research Ministry (MEC) in the end of the year.
