National under-21 football team of Moldova to make training in Malta

Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/ - The national under-15 football team of Moldova will make training in Malta on 26-30 March. The training is part of the national team’s preparation for the European Under-21 Championship due in 2023.

The national team will play two friendly matches with the Maltese under-21 team.

At the qualifiers for the European Unedr-21 Football Championship due in 2023, Moldova will play in the E group along with the Netherlands, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Wales and Gibraltar. The Moldovan team will play its first away match with the national team of Wales on 4 June.
