President congratulated U.S. on Independence Day
President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu sent a congratulatory message to the United States of America on Independence Day, celebrated on July 4.
The head of state noted that over two and a half centuries, the U.S. has demonstrated that freedom endures.
According to the President, the Republic of Moldova is proud to call the United States a friend and partner.
“Congratulations to the people of the United States of America on 250 years of independence. Over two and a half centuries, the U.S. has shown that freedom endures. Moldova is proud to call the United States a friend and a partner. Happy Independence Day,” Maia Sandu wrote in a message posted on the X network.
The Independence Day of the United States is celebrated annually on July 4 and commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
