Reconstruction work of Nisporeni stadium completed
Chisinau, 15 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- A reception committee met today in Nisporeni to examine the activities carried out in the project to improve the mass tourism infrastructure in the Central Region, namely the modernization and reconstruction of the local Youth and Sports Center.
The objective to be received at the end of the works is the capital renovation of the main stadium in Nisporeni, the construction of an auxiliary block where a sports hotel will be arranged, the construction of a new grandstand, as well as the reconstruction of the existing grandstands. Also here, works were carried out to arrange a bathroom for spectators. Within the same objective, night lighting poles were installed, external electrical networks were connected, as well as the arrangement of the stadium and the running tracks with sector for athletics.
The total cost of the project amounts to 91 million lei, of which about 45 million lei were allocated from the National Fund for Regional Development, and the rest of the amount is the contribution of the beneficiaries.
Members of the Commission accepted the reception at the end of the work with the statement "removal of objections recorded during the site visit".
"The applicants of the project are confident that the realization of this large-scale project for Nisporeni district will increase the number of tourists in the region and will increase the socio-economic development. At the same time, the representatives of the local public authorities intend to certify this stadium, the third category, at UEFA ", states the Center Regional Development Agency.
The inauguration of the Youth and Sports Center in Nisporeni took place on November 21, the patron saint of Nisporeni, when the local authorities organized a friendly football match between the Nisporeni District Football Association and the Straseni District Football Association.
