Three projects included in European Village Program completed in Drochia district
Chisinau, 31 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Three projects worth over seven million lei (350 thousand euros), included in the European Village Program, were completed in Drochia district. As a result, several inhabitants of Drochia have access to the sewage system, the people of Ochiul Alb village have water at the taps, and the children of Maramonovca benefit from furniture and modern educational means.
Thus, with over 4.5 million lei from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL), about 4 km of sewerage networks were built in the south-eastern part of Drochia. As a result, access to the sewage system was ensured for 261 households, five public institutions and several economic agents.
In Ochiul Alb, over 2 km of aqueduct were built, with around 1.3 million lei invested. At the same time, the kindergarten and gymnasium in Maramonovca were equipped with furniture and modern educational means. For this, almost one million lei was allocated from the FNDRL.
Drochia district benefits from 13 local development projects, under European Village Program. Their total value is 59 million lei.
ONDRL head Mihail Croitoru said that in the coming months, 5-7 projects will be registered daily under the European Village Program.
