Daily allowances for children in placement services to be indexed in Moldova on 1 April 2022
Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/ - The daily allowances for children will be indexed on 1 April 2022, proceeding from the annual increase in the consumer prices for the year before. According to data by the National Statistics Bureau (BNS), the consumer prices index for the last year was 113.94 per cent, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Thus, decision-makers will increase the daily allowances for the children placed in services of professional parental assistance, family-type children’s homes, trusteeship/guardianship, community home for children at risk and placement centre for children separated from parents, from 13 to 15 lei on usual days, from 113 to 129 lei on the child’s birthday, from 80 to 92 lei on holidays.
The draft decision’s provisions will enter into force on 1 April 2022.
