Head of state meets Moldovan sportspeople participants in Paris Paralympic Games at Chisinau Airport
Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today met the sportspeople who had returned from the Paris Paralympic Games at the Chisinau Airport and thanked them for the results achieved, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state congratulated judokas Ion Basoc, who became Paralympic vice champion and Oleg Cretul, who won the bronze medal. Along with Larisa Marinenkova, Gheorghe Spînu and Ina Cernei, they got the 73rd position for Moldova out of 168 countries participating in the Paralympic Games.
„We are proud of each of you!,’’ the Moldovan president said.
