Moldovan, Ukrainian officials discuss negotiations on Transnistrian settlement
Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Lesnic met yesterday Ukraine's Special Representative for Transnistrian settlement negotiations Viktor Krijanovski, who is in Chisinau in the context of the 31st meeting of the Consultative Council of the EU Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.
The talks between the two officials focused on developments in the Transnistrian settlement process.
The deputy premier said that following the situation in Ukraine, an interinstitutional working group was set up, responsible for the continuous monitoring of developments and taking the necessary actions. Lesnic noted that Moldova condemns unilateral and provocative actions to Ukraine.
At the same time, Lesnic had a phone conversation with Minister for Temporary Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine Vadym Chernysh.
Lesnic expressed solidarity and full support during this difficult period faced by the people of the neighboring country.
