
New government's secretary general appointed in Moldova
Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved the appointment of Dumitru Udrea to the office of government’s secretary general. Dumitru Udrea has degree in economic sciences and a master degree in economic systems and policies, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Dumitru Udrea worked in public authorities, as chief consultant, at the directorate for attraction and coordination of foreign technical assistance at the Economics and Commerce Ministry, as well as state secretary at the Finance Ministry. Also, Udrea has a rich experience of work in a string of projects on foreign assistance financed by EU, USA, United Kingdom, World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank, Council of Europe Development Bank, EU Neighbourhood Investment Facility, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), UNWomen, TAIEX and SIGMA, as expert, director of the office for the management of development projects, project manager. He made professional probations in Japan, Austria, Sweden, Italy.
Also today, Stela Ciobanu was appointed as secretary general at the Justice Ministry. She has 17 years of managerial professional experience and knows more foreign languages. Ciobanu studied for her master’s degree at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Moldova, management specialty. During her professional activity, she worked at more institutions, including Moldtelecom, Mobiasbanca, and held the positions of head of the human resources department, member of the Department Committee, secretary general and deputy head secretary general. Stela Ciobanu was in charge of the management of the organizational changes and optimization of processes, including of the budgets for the development of policies and processes for ensuring the compliance with the strategy, operational management, as well as in the juridical sector, corporate governance, quality, communication, etc.
Also, the cabinet approved the appointment of Igor Cutie as secretary general of the Defence Ministry. Igor Cutie finished the higher engineering school, Academy of High Military Studies from Bucharest, as well as of the National Defence College in the security sector from Romania. At the same time, he has a master degree in the public administration sector and he presently trains for doctor’s degree in the security and defence field. The new secretary general is a career military with an experience of more than 30 years of work. During 1992-2020, Igor Cutie worked in diverse command and General Staff offices of the National Army.
