Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu in Bucharest met President of the Chamber of Deputies Sorin Grindeanu and President of the Romanian Senate Mircea Abrudean. The officials discussed advancing Moldova's accession process to the European Union, as well as modernization projects carried out in Moldova with support on behalf of the Romanian side.

"We are building a common future through carefully implemented projects for our citizens. Whether we are talking about energy, infrastructure, education, or culture — we are bringing the people on both banks of the Prut closer and building Europe at home," said Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu.

The officials emphasized the need for joint involvement in overcoming challenges triggered by the regional context, with a focus on citizens’ security and improving welfare. At the same time, the Romanian parliament’s leaders conveyed a message of political support for the government's ambitious agenda, expressing their belief that Moldova's place is in the great European family.
