Moldovan Prime Minister pays official visit to Kyiv, Ukraine
Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu is paying an official visit to Kyiv, Ukraine today to convey a message of solidarity and to discuss with Ukrainian partners about bilateral cooperation, developments on the path to accession to the European Union and regional security.
The official will hold meetings with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko and First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniyenko.
The Prime Minister will convey a message of solidarity and support for the struggle of the Ukrainian people for independence and freedom. As a sign of respect for the defenders of Ukraine who lost their lives, the Prime Minister will lay flowers at the Wall of Remembrance in Kyiv.
In addition, during the visit several agreements between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine will be signed, which will facilitate bilateral cooperation.
The delegation of the Republic of Moldova includes Minister of Internal Affairs Daniella Misail-Nichitin, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Energy Dorin Junghietu and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sergiu Mihov.
