Moldova to have new ambassadors in four key countries
More ambassadors have been appointed or recalled, according to a decision approved at today’s government meeting.
Thus, Stefan Gorda has been recalled from his position as Ambassador of Moldova to Kazakhstan, and Corina Calugaru has been recalled from her post as Ambassador to France.
At the same time, Victor Chirila will take up the post of Ambassador to Ukraine, and Mihail Mitu will be the new Ambassador of Moldova to Romania.
Meanwhile, Lorina Balteanu has been appointed Ambassador to France, and Petru Frunze will be Ambassador to China.
Also today, the government ruled to appoint Vladislav Kulminski, currently Ambassador of Moldova to the USA, as Ambassador to Mexico, on a non-resident basis. Likewise, Viorel Ursu, Ambassador to Sweden, will also serve, on a non-resident basis, as Ambassador to Iceland, Norway and Finland.
