Moldovan cabinet holds meeting on January 22; changes to meal vouchers' allocation on agenda
The cabinet members will convene at a meeting on January 22. Fourteen draft decisions are included on the agenda.
One of the draft decisions to be examined concerns changes to the allocation of meal vouchers. It provides for updating the regulatory framework on the granting of vouchers, increasing their value from 55 to 70 lei, providing vouchers also to employees working night shifts and allowing meal vouchers to be used, including for online payments, at commercial units and public catering establishments.
At the same time, the government will examine the draft decision on approving the volumes of timber harvesting in the process of main product logging in the forests of the state-owned forest fund for the period 2026–2030.
The government members will also analyze the Training and Professional Development Plan for staff of public authorities for the year 2026, as well as the technical regulation on the main elements of data storage contracts to be concluded as part of a traceability system for tobacco products.
The agenda also includes government’s opinions on a number of draft laws.
The meeting will start at 16:30.
