
Moldovan electoral body took note of parties' financial reports for 2021
Chisinau, June 1 / MOLDPRES /- The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has taken note of the information presented in the reports on the financial management of political parties for 2021.
According to the CEC, out of the 55 political parties that were required to submit financial management reports for 2021, 44 political parties submitted financial reports on time, ie by 31 March 2022. By the deadline of May 30, 2022, four other political parties had submitted their reports on financial management.
Thus, the Commission found that the financial management reports submitted by 10 political parties contained full information and in accordance with the legal provisions, the reports of the other 10 political parties contained the number "0" in all compartments, and in the case of 29 political parties were identified. calculation errors, misrepresentation of donation and grant amounts, expenses, and incomplete information.
At the same time, the CEC found that six political parties had not submitted the financial report.
