Moldovan president summons Supreme Security Council for 23 March

Chisinau, 20 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Nicolae Timofti summoned a meeting of the Supreme Security Council on 23 March, the presidential press service has reported.

“Problems of the national security, in the context of regional geopolitical developments” will be discussed at the meeting.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, President’s spokesperson Vlad Turcanu specified that Defence Minister Viorel Cibotaru, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman, Interior Minister Oleg Balan and the head of Intelligence and Security Service, Mihai Balan, would present reports at the event.
