Parliamentary Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance has new chair
The Parliamentary Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance has a new chair. The position will be held by the MP from the parliamentary faction Party of Action and Solidarity, Victoria Belous. The decision was approved on Thursday by the Legislature.
The position became vacant after MP Radu Marian announced his resignation.
Victoria Belous holds a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in public administration. Previously, she served as Minister of Finance. She also worked for 17 years at the State Tax Service, where she held several positions, from inspector to deputy director.
In the same sitting, MPs also approved a draft decision by which Victoria Belous was included in the composition of the Parliament’s Standing Bureau.
