As many as 1,001 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 14 April /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,444 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,001 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which six import ones. As many as 243,365 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 18 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 4, medical assistants –10 and auxiliary staff -4.
As many as 3,208 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 304 are in extremely serious condition (49 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 6,116 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 17,886 are under supervision at home.
Another 1,289 people have been treated. As many as 226,325 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 28 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 5,466 people have died of coronavirus in all.
