As many as 1,385 employees in health system infected with COVID-19
Chisinau, 20 May /MOLDPRES/- So far, 1,385 cases of infection have been confirmed among health care workers, including 327 doctors and 525 nurses.
According to data presented by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, at present, 6,340 cases of infection with the new Coronavirus are confirmed in the Republic of Moldova.
A number of 244 patients infected with the new coronavirus are in serious condition, 22 are connected to assisted breathing apparatus, and 546 are hospitalized in medium severity.
Yesterday, 60 people who were cured of COVID-19 were released. Another 120 people completed treatment at home under the supervision of the family doctor. At the same time, 265 people from the Transnistrian region were cured of COVID-19. Overall, 2,953 persons are treated.
