
More than 100,000 cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in all
Chisinau, 25 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,968 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,570 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which six import ones. As many as 101,203 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 96 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 33, medical assistants – 48, auxiliary staff employees – 15.
A number of 3,501 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 252 are in extremely serious condition (45 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 4,725 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 28,120 are under supervision at the domicile.
Another 1,454 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 83,789 people were treated of COVID-19.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 21 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,209 people dead because of the virus till present.
