Four Moldovan football teams play in European cups
Chisinau, 7 July /MOLDPRES/- Four teams from the Republic of Moldova will play in the European cups. The start is given by the champion Sheriff Tiraspol, which will play in the Champions League against the Albanian team Teuta.
The Moldovan Football Federation announced the program of the Moldovan teams qualified for the European cups. Thus, today, from 20.00, Sheriff Tiraspol plays away with the Teuta Albania team. The return is scheduled for July 13, in Tiraspol (20.00).
The winner of the match will advance to the second preliminary round of the Champions League, but the defeated team will continue its European course in the second preliminary round of the Conference League.
Three other Moldovan teams will play on 8 July in the Conference League. Thus, the vice-champion Petrocub Hâncești will play in the Conference League on the field of the FK Sileks team (Northern Macedonia), from 17.00. The team that won the bronze in the National Division - Milsami, will play at home, in Orhei, against the FK Sarajevo group (Bosnia and Herzegovina), from 20.00. The winner of the Moldova Cup, Sfântul Gheorghe Suruceni will meet FK Partizani (Albania) away, from 21.00.
