Moldovan rower qualifies for Paris Olympic Games
Chisinau, 2 September /MOLDPRES/ - Rower Serghei Tarnovschi has won qualification for the Paris Olympic Games, after the International Canoe Federation recalculated the quotas provided following the results achieved at the World Championships from Duisburg, Germany.
According to the Education and Research Ministry (MEC), Serghei Tarnovschi had a successful performance at the Canoe Marathon World Championships, held in Denmark. The sportsman finished the race of 3.4 km on the fourth position.
Archer Dan Olaru and rowers Daniela Ciocanu and Maria Olarasu have earlier qualified for the Paris Olympic Games.
