Moldova's National Football team records tie with Faroe Islands in first match for 2024 European Championship qualifiers
Chisinau, 25 March /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s national football team on 24 March tied the match with the team of the Faroe Islands with the score 1:1, in the first match of the 2024 European Championship’s qualifiers, group E.
According to the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF), the Moldovan footballers scored the goal at penalty kicked by Ion Nicolaescu, given by the referee for a fault against Serafim Cojocari. This is the tenth goal scored by Nicolaescu for Moldova’s national team.
The next match of the Moldova’s national football team is the one with the Czech Republic, due on the Zimbru stadium on 27 March at 21:45.
