Renovation of Nicolae Bulat Museum of History and Ethnography completed in Soroca
Chisinau, Oct. 20 /MOLDPRES/- The Museum of History and Ethnography "Nicolae Bulat" in Soroca has changed, becoming more attractive thanks to a project financed from the sources of the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL) and implemented by the Regional Development Agency (ADR) North. The museum rehabilitation works were carried out between July 2022 - September 2023.
"This is the second project for the rehabilitation and modernization of a museum in the north of the Republic of Moldova financed from national financial sources. This May, we implemented a similar project at the Museum of History and Ethnography in Balti. We must support culture and tourism, because these values characterize us to a very large extent", Maria Prisacari, director of the Regional Development Agency (ADR) North said.
The total cost of the project is 8.2 million lei (410 thousand euros), of which 7.4 million lei - allocated from FNDRL and 821,104 lei - co-financing from CR Soroca.The project was submitted by the Soroca District Council within the Call for the selection of regional development projects for 2021-2023.
