Acting PM conveys message on International Customs Day
Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/- Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today sent a congratulatory message on International Customs Day, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The message says:
"Dear employees of the Customs Service of Moldova,
Every year on 26 January the International Customs Day is celebrated, under the patronage of the World Customs Organization, of which the Republic of Moldova has been a member since 1994.
I take this opportunity to address the most sincere congratulations and best wishes to the entire team of the Customs Service and express my appreciation for the work done to effectively achieve the priority goals, ensure the economic security of the state, improve the investment climate and economic competitiveness of our country and the image of the Moldovan customs system.
Thanks to your professionalism, dedication and personal contribution, the performances of the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova are appreciated internationally. Thank you for the responsible work and significant effort made for the qualitative fulfillment of your duties.
I also express my gratitude to all customs officials for hard work, dedication and responsibility in maintaining health and protection of citizens crossing the country's borders under the COVID-19 pandemic.
