Discussions with representatives of Norwegian Refugee Council on activities carried out in Moldova
On 9 July 2026, Head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies Alin Gvidiani held a working meeting with Director of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) Office in the Republic of Moldova Neil Brighton and representatives of the Office.
The discussions focused on the activities carried out by the NRC, including projects implemented in the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova, as well as the types of humanitarian assistance provided to vulnerable people and the forms of support offered to them.
With regard to the activities and initiatives implemented in the Transnistrian region, the need to continue coordinating them with the Bureau for Reintegration Policies was reiterated, in the spirit of the commitments undertaken towards the Republic of Moldova and in line with the priorities set in the country’s reintegration process.
At the same time, appreciation was expressed for the support provided by the Norwegian Refugee Council, as well as for its contribution to the implementation of activities aimed at supporting the population on both banks of the Dniester River.
