Government State Secretary for Reintegration in dialogue with local public authorities on community development and citizens’ access to public services
Government State Secretary for Reintegration Roman Roșca paid a working visit to Hîrbovăț and Varnița, Anenii Noi district, today. He held meetings with local public administration authorities and representatives of public institutions in the area.
In Hîrbovăț, he met with the mayor of the locality, Rodica Croitor. The main topics discussed focused on local development projects, with an emphasis on the ongoing road rehabilitation works in the locality and their importance for improving infrastructure and living conditions for residents.
In Varnița, during discussions with Mayor Alexandr Nichitenco, the parties reviewed issues related to the activity of deconcentrated institutions in the territory, the protection of citizens’ rights, as well as ensuring fair access to public services for residents of the Security Zone.
Continuing the visit, the State Secretary exchanged views with representatives of the territorial subdivisions of the Public Services Agency in Varnița and with the head of the Varnița Representation of the Ombudsperson’s Office. During the discussions, it was highlighted that there is a constant increase in the number of citizens from localities on the left bank of the Dniester River and from the municipality of Bender who are turning to national authorities to access public services. Particular interest is shown in obtaining and updating civil status documents, which confirms the importance of maintaining and strengthening citizens’ access to the services provided by state institutions.
