Moldovan parliament speaker, French counterpart plant trees at Botanical Garden
Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, along with President of the National Assembly France Yaël Bran-Pivet, have planted magnolia trees at the Alexandru Ciubotaru National Botanical Garden from Chisinau. The action took place as a token of friendship between the two countries, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
President of the National Assembly France Yaël Bran-Pivet is on an official visit to Moldova on 29 June – 1 July. This is the first visit to Moldova by a President of the National Assembly of France during those 31 years since the establishment of the Moldovan-French diplomatic relations.
