
Moldovan president participates in International Conference MACRO 2022
Chisinau, 23 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu participated in the International Conference MACRO 2022, which started today, the presidential press service has reported.
In the opening message, the head of state referred to the priority sectors of intervention for Moldova’s sustainable development: migration, energy security, green transition, education, digitalization, regional development and other essential fields.
According to the president, it is about complex, expensive and long-lasting interventions in these sectors, but which are essential to give Moldova a chance for prosperity. ‘’These actions of the authorities must be focused on the people’s needs and expectations and ensure the improvement of the quality of services and of the lives of our citizens. At the same time, it is important that we cultivate, as state, the resilience to the regional and global challenges and crises,’’ the head of state stressed in her message.
Maia Sandu urged the citizens to contribute to the common project of edifying Moldova’s future through work, involvement and ideas which are to be shared with the others. ‘’Moldova’s future will be just as we have the courage to imagine it – and just as we will edify it together,’’ the Moldovan president said.
On 23-24 February, the MACRO Conference brings together politicians, experts, opinion leaders of the country and from abroad, which discusses the way Moldovan can develop.
