Over 1,750 families from left bank of Dniester and Bender benefited from state allowances for child growth and care
Over 1,750 families residing on the left bank of the Dniester and Bender municipality benefited, between 2021 and September 2025, from allowances for child growth and care provided from the state social insurance budget.
According to the Reintegration Policy Office (BPR), statistics show a significant increase in the access to these forms of support, which confirms the interest and trust of citizens in the social policies implemented by Chisinau.
“In 2024, the total number of beneficiaries reached 582, which is the highest value in the past five years. This trend is explained by the increase in the number of families who requested the one-time allowance at childbirth - 280 and the monthly allowance for child care until the age of two - 299. In the first eight months of the current year, 347 families benefited from various types of allowances, demonstrating the continuity of support measures,” the institution specified.
Additionally, each year, beneficiaries of the special allowance intended for raising twins or multiple children born from a single pregnancy up to the age of three have been registered.
“Strengthening the social protection mechanisms for citizens in the Transnistrian region remains a constant priority, with the goals of ensuring a safer and more decent living for every family and child, as well as promoting inclusive and equitable policies across the entire territory of the country,” BPR emphasized.
