
Forest Festival 2025 to be held in central Moldova settlement on September 14
The Forest Festival 2025 will take place at the Presidential Residence in Condrita village, Chisinau municipality, on September 14, bringing to the stage artists and folklore ensembles from across Moldova.
Participation in the festival and most activities is free, except for the fair zone. The organizers will provide transportation from Chisinau and back throughout the day.
The Forest Festival is organized by the Ministry of Environment and the Environmental Journalists Association, in partnership with the Office of the President of Moldova, the Interior Ministry and Lafarge Moldova, with support from Slovenia.
The event is part of the National Afforestation Programme, launched in 2023 under the auspices of President Maia Sandu. The Programme is aimed at afforesting about 150,000 hectares over the next 10 years, through a joint effort of state institutions, non-governmental organizations and citizens.
