Moldovan Prime Minister visited factory in Ștefan Vodă
Chisinau, Dec. 21 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița today visited the agricultural products processing factory His East in Ștefan Vodă. The enterprise was recently opened by the Swiss HIS Foundation, founded by the Schöni family of entrepreneurs, which runs several successful businesses in Switzerland and the EU states, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
So far, about 2.5 million euros have been invested in the construction of the factory. Another 0.5 million is to be invested for the procurement of modern technical processing equipment.
For 2023, the factory managers plan to process about 600 tons of products for domestic consumption. Afterwards, their export to the EU space is expected. Thus, farmers in the region will have a new outlet for their products. Moreover, the company's administration aims to transform Moldovan raw materials into value-added products. Farmers will also be trained and familiarized with new farming methods so that they can produce more sustainably and at lower costs. In the first phase, the company plans to provide 30 jobs.
