Moldova's Commission for Emergency Situations adopts new decisions
Chisinau, 28 July /MOLDPRES/ - Over 2 million lei will be allocated from the government’s intervention fund, in order to cover the expenses borne for the management of refugees’ crisis. A decision to this effect has been taken at a meeting of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE), chaired by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Thus, 928,000 lei will be provided for the maintenance of the temporary placement centres for refugees, established by the local public administration authorities of the second level and 147,000 lei – for the ones established by the public administration of the first level. To this end, the Labour and Social Protection Ministry will receive 976,000 lei and the Education and Research Ministry – 16,000 lei.
Also, under CSE’s decision, the National Health Insurances Company will pay for the medical assistance services provided to people displaced from Ukraine, even if they are in process of getting the status of temporary protection.
The decision regards the first emergency medical assistance and the free of charge medical examination, provided by medical and sanitary institutions involved in the mandatory health insurances system.
