
Moldova's foreign minister to visit Japan
Chisinau, Nov. 11 /MOLDPRES/- Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi will pay a working visit to Japan on 12-13 November 2024. The diplomat is scheduled to hold meetings with his Japanese counterpart, members of the parliamentary friendship group, as well as representatives of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives Keizai Doyukai.
According to the MAE press service, the Moldovan official will meet Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya in Japan to discuss ways to deepen bilateral and multilateral dialog, as well as boost economic cooperation.
The visit's agenda will also include meetings with leaders of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), members of the parliamentary friendship group, as well as representatives of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives Keizai Doyukai.
The discussions will focus on Japanese assistance for Moldova's development, business opportunities in Moldova for Japanese investors, as well as enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation.
Mihai Popșoi will also meet with members of the Moldovan community living in Japan.
