Moldova's National Army three armoured vehicles on behalf of Germany
Chisinau, 14 February /MOLDPRES/ - The National Army is to receive another three Piranha armoured vehicles on behalf of Germany’s government.
According to the Defence Ministry, the vehicles will arrive in Moldova today. The Piranha armoured vehicles are received in the context of the achievement of the goal of modernizing the National Army’s capabilities and based on an arrangement signed by the ministry and the German side in October 2021.
The armoured vehicles will be used in the process of training servicemen, who are to be detached to international peacekeeping missions.
The first consignment of three Piranha vehicles arrived in Chisinau in last January. The donation contains 19 Piranha-3 armoured vehicles in all. The other vehicles will be delivered during this year.
