In Tighina (Bender), KidsLand has opened – a modern play and creativity center for children of all ages, founded both from a parent's passion and a necessity felt in the community. The project was made possible thanks to the financial support and mentorship provided through the European Union's Confidence-Building Measures program, implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Founder Mihail Gavrilenco identified the lack of well-equipped play areas in the city and decided to create a safe, interactive and diverse space for children.

'Without this funding, we probably wouldn't have managed to open it. The investments are significant, and the EU assistance allowed us to set up a modern playroom,' said Mihail.

KidsLand includes a play area with trampolines, slides, a dry ball pool, interactive games, spaces for drawing and creative activities, as well as zones where children can build, color, and explore. While the little ones have fun, parents can dedicate their time to other activities, knowing their children are supervised by qualified staff.

KidsLand is one of the 20 businesses launched or developed on both banks of the Dniester with the support of the EU-UNDP program, part of a broader effort to support the business environment and to build trust between communities. The total value of the support provided for entrepreneurship development exceeds 529,000 euros.
