Technical University received batch of books from USA
Chişinău, Dec. 27 /MOLDPRES/- The US Embassy in Chisinau sent a book donation to the Technical University of Moldova (UTM). They are in English, in fields related to engineering training, UTM announced yesterday.
The donation is part of the partnership between the American state of North Carolina and our country, with the support of Elaine Marshall, Secretary of State of North Carolina.
"It is a valuable batch of books, which is the expression of appreciation for the efforts of the UTM administration and the team of the Technical-Scientific Library of UTM, who make sure that students can have access to as much literature as possible to enrich their knowledge in different fields", said Irina Rusanovschi from the International Center for Cooperation & Development Phoenix and Moldova World Children's Fund.
According to Irina Rusanovschi, this "is the most beautiful partnership, within which various projects are developed - social, cultural, medical and educational".
"The gesture is the merit of Mrs. Secretary of State Elaine Marshall, who thought that when they return after the Christmas holidays, the students of the Technical University of Moldova will have the great surprise of discovering on the library shelves new books in English in various fields - IT, architecture, food, physics, environment and many other interesting literature", the quoted source said.
