Victor Durbală announced resignation as director of Moldsilva Agency
Moldsilva Agency director Victor Durbală announced he submitted his resignation on 4 November 2025, thus concluding a term "marked by institutional reforms and the strengthening of the forestry sector in the Republic of Moldova."
In a public message, Durbală expressed gratitude to his colleagues in the forestry system, emphasizing the importance of their work and dedication to protecting the country's forests.
"It was an honor to work alongside dedicated people who defend and nurture Moldova's forests every day. I am glad that together we have made the forestry sector more united, more respected, and more visible. Stay united and proud to be foresters—a profession that leaves behind life, clean air, and hope," wrote Victor Durbală.
The Ministry of Environment is expected to announce its decision regarding the institution's leadership in the following period.
