VIDEO // Prime Minister invited citizens to attend events on Independence Day
Prime Minister Vasile Tofan today invited all citizens to take part in the events on the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of the Independence of the Republic of Moldova.
The message was delivered at the end of today’s Government meeting.
“I extend an invitation to all citizens of the Republic of Moldova to be in the Great National Assembly Square, at the events dedicated to Independence Day, including the military parade. Let us show that we support our soldiers, we support the law enforcement and security structures, and that we have the dignity to celebrate this Independence together,” said Vasile Tofan.
On August 27, the Republic of Moldova will mark 35 years since the proclamation of Independence through a national program of cultural, educational, commemorative and festive events, held both in the country and abroad. The program “The Independence That Unites Us. Moldova-35” includes more than 20 activities, among which a flower-laying ceremony, festive events and actions dedicated to national history and values.
