Seven Moldovan airline companies prohibited from operating flights in EU
Chisinau, 09 December /MOLDPRES/ – Seven airlines from Moldova were prohibited to fly in the European Union. The European Commission published on Monday, 09 December, a revised list of companies that do not meet international safety standards, reports a statement by the EU executive, quoted by Agerpres.
Among the companies on this list are: Valan ICC SRL, Aim Air SRL, Air Stork SRL, Megaviation SRL, Pecotox – Air SRL, Terra Avia SRL and Fly Pro SRL, which are registered in Moldova.
According to quoted source, all airlines of Moldova, except Air Moldova, Fly One and Aerotranscargo, were included in this list due to the lack of supervision by the Civil Aviation Authority (AAC) of Moldova, informs the Community Executive.
According to revised list published Monday, 115 airlines are subject to an operating ban in the European Union: 109 registered in 15 states due to the lack of supervision by the air authorities in those countries, and another six due to the security concerns of the respective companies.
