
Moldovan foreign affairs minister meets new Ambassador of Germany
Chisinau, 29 September /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has met Ambassador of Germany to Moldova Margret Uebber, who has recently started her diplomatic mission in the country, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.
The officials discussed the security situation, in the context of Russia’s war against Ukraine, the social and economic impact on Moldova and the energy crisis.
„We also referred to the bilateral, multilateral subjects and the organization of the next edition of the Moldova Support Platform. Germany’s support is fully felt in our integration into EU.
I assured the German diplomat of MAEIE’s every support for the further strengthening of the good Moldovan-German relations,’’ Minister Nicu Popescu stressed.
