
Moldovan, Romanian officials discuss cooperation
Chisinau, Nov. 30 /MOLDPRES/- On a visit to Skopje, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Luminița Odobescu, the MAEIE press service has reported.
The Moldovan official expressed appreciation for Romania's constant and consistent support regarding development projects in Moldova and our European path, Romania being our main advocate in the EU accession process.
"I emphasized along with Mrs. Odobescu the importance of a peaceful resolution of the Transnistrian conflict, with an emphasis on the unconditional withdrawal of Russian troops from our territory. In Skopje, we reiterated the solidarity of the Republic of Moldova and Romania for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine," Popescu said.
