Agreement on land for construction of US Embassy in Chisinau ratified

Chisinau, 5 May /MOLDPRES/- Parliament approved today in the second reading the draft ratification of the Agreement, set up by exchange of notes between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the United States of America on the land for the construction of the US Embassy in Moldova.

The agreement was signed on July 12, 2019, and its ratification offers the right to purchase land for the construction of a new headquarters of the United States Embassy in Chisinau.
