
Chisinau-Bucharest-Chisinau train to be temporarily stopped
Chisinau, 16 March /MOLDPRES/- Moldova Railway state-owned enterprise announced today that according to the decision of the country's authorities, the Chisinau-Bucharest-Chisinau train will be temporarily stopped.
The cost of tickets sold will be fully refunded.
Also, given Kiev authorities decided to close the borders, the Moldova Railway company announced yesterday temporary suspension of train Chisinau-Moscow from 14 March, Chisinau-St. Petersburg from 15 March and Chisinau-Odessa from 20 March.
On Friday, the company said that Chisinau – Iasi (Socola) train will not run from March 14 until April 2. The decision is motivated by "attesting a reduced flow of passengers".
Last week, several universities in Iasi announced that they suspended the educational process by late March on spread of new type COVID-19 coronavirus.
