Trolleybus route connecting Chisinau to Truseni launched today
Chisisnau, 19 November /MOLDPRES/- Five trolleys were put into circulation today on a new trolley route, which will connect between Chisinau and Truseni. The trolleybus No34 will operate on the route.
Acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu said that by launching the route, "local authorities are trying to solve a problem that has lasted for years".
Acting director of RTEC enterprise Dorin Ciornai said “the five trolleybuses were purchased from Belarus and assembled in Chisinau”.
Previously, two new trolleybus routes were launched to the suburbs of the capital. It is about Sangera town and Stauceni village.
Currently, RTEC has 360 trolleybuses, of which 222 are new.
