Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/ - The economic agents and public institutions from Moldova’s eastern districts will be able to further carry out the procedures of charging customs duties at the crossing of the joint state border checkpoints Pervomaysk-Kuchurgan, Goianul Nou-Platonovo and Novosavitskoe-Kuchurgan till 31 January 2023. The cabinet approved a decision to this effect.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the period was extended for the carrying out of procedures of charging customs duties without the collection of the rights to import or export, without enforcing measures of economic policy, on condition that the goods remain on the territory uncontrolled by the constitutional bodies.

Also, till the implementation of the full control at the Novosavitskoe-Kuchurgan border crossing point, the term of charging customs duties on the oil products introduced in Moldova at the Bender-2 customs checkpoint is extended till 31 January 2023.

The earlier established term is 30 June 2022. Its extension is necessary, in order to identify viable solutions of registration and record of all importers from Moldova’s eastern districts at the Public Services Agency (ASP).
