
Spring-summer conscription campaign launched in Moldova
Chisinau, 14 April /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet members today took note of the results of the fulfillment of the task of citizens’ conscription to seasoned military service on the period October 2020 – January 2021 and approved the spring-summer conscription campaign.
Under the cabinet decision, the following conscription task was established for April-July 2021 for the fulfillment: of the seasoned military service in the National Army – 1,250 recruits; short-term military service in the National Army – up to ten recruits.
The citizens’ conscription in the military service is carried out in stages, according to the schedule worked out by the Defence Ministry.
The local public administration authorities, along with the Defence Ministry, Education, Culture and Research Ministry and military centres, will organize, under the legislation, the conscription of citizens to the seasoned military service and short-term military service on the period April-July 2021.
Also today, the government ruled to ‘’release from military service and put in reserve of the Armed Forces at the expiration of the military service’s duration: in April-July 2021 – the servicemen conscripted to the seasoned military service in April-July 2020; in April 2021- servicemen conscripted in January 2021, in the short-term military term.
