Moldovan and Romanian lawmakers to discuss cooperation in education

Members of the Education Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament will be visiting Chisinau on 23-25 September. They will hold several meetings with officials and representatives of educational institutions from the Republic of Moldova.

During the visit, members of the Romanian Parliament will meet with members of the Committee on Culture, Education, Research, Youth, Sport and Media of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. The discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation between the two parliamentary committees, as well as exchanging experience and adopting best practices in drafting legislation in the field of education.

The agenda also includes a meeting with members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Romania, as well as a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Education and Research.

The Romanian Parliament delegation will also visit Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University and the Technical University of Moldova.
